Astroman's Nicola Tesla Page
I have more than just a passing interest in Nikola Tesla and his inventions. You see, I built a Tesla Coil, (TC), a long time ago and have just started a new one, and I've studied his life and inventions in great detail. I actually caught the bug in high school, when I saw one demonstrated in an electronics class. Absolutely mesmerizing, the way the sparks flew off in all directions, the color, the noise and the way it lit up bulbs without connections.

Keely Net Mail List: Nicola Tesla - Dr. of Time
There are always some " occult" ideas out there. I've mentioned
Vassilatos's book" secrets of cold war technology", and still recommend
it, however he does paraphrase himself alot, repeats what he's just said
a paragraph or two before, and keeps a mystery around things.
In regard to Nicola Tesla, vassilatos mentions he broadcasted the
aether to wirelessly run his motors. He mentions how Tesla had ballons
adrift which were connected to his coil apparatus (i.e. terminals) and
how motors he had in the park turned wirelessly. He noted that the
motors had more power when connected to the ground.
Now through this Vassilatos keeps mentioning the aether "for almost
everything".

Nichola Tesla, Tesla Tribute, Tesla Calculations, Mark Twain
In the early 1900's Nicola Tesla invented the AC current, AC brushless motors, radio transmission (not Marconi), electric turbines, robotics, multiplexing transmitters, underwater torpedoes, and many other "unpublished" devices. The man was on intellectual par with Sir Isaac Newton, in that his "experiments" opened entire new fields of scientific endeavor. Basically, he invented the modern world. It is one belief that he was erased from history because of his extensive knowledge of technology.

Nicola Tesla
In 1899, Nikola Tesla, inventor of alternating-current power transmission, the Tesla coil transformer, wireless communication, radio, fluorescent lights, and holder of more than 700 other patents, moved shop to Colorado Springs to take advantage of the climate and air quality. Tesla had outgrown his New York lab and needed more space and privacy to conduct his energy experiments. He chose Colorado Springs to build a new lab, not only for the above reasons, but also because the Colorado Springs Electric Company offered him free land and electricity.

Nicola Tesla
My instruments were affected stronger by discharges taking place at great distances than by those near by. This puzzled me very much. . . . No doubt whatever remained: I was observing stationary waves. As the source of the disturbances [thuderstorm] moved away, the receiving circuit came successively upon their nodes and loops. Impossible as it seemed, this planet, despite its vast extent, behaved like a conductor of limited dimensions. The tremendous significance of this fact in the transmission of energy by my system had already become quite clear to me. Not only was it practicable to send telegraphic messages to any distance without wires, as I recognized long ago, but also to impress upon the entire globe the faint modulations of the human voice, far more still, to transmit power, in unlimited amounts, to any terrestrial distance and almost without loss.(1)

Nicola Tesla
Hes real name was Nicolae Tesla and he wasn't born in Croatia, but in Romania. Just like all other eminent romanian scientists, Tesla got a wrong indentity (example: Henry Coanda, inventer of Coanda Effect and Jet airplains in 1910).
Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) was the genius who lit the world, whose discoveries in the field of alternating polyphase current electricity advanced the United States and the rest of the world into the modern industrial era.

Chances are that you will see little mention of a guy named Nikola Tesla, the most famous scientist in the world at the turn of the century.
In fact, few people today have ever heard of the guy. Good old Tommy Edison made sure of that.
After all, Tesla was considered an eccentric who talked of death rays that could destroy 10,000 airplanes at a distance of 250 miles, claimed to be able split the Earth in two, believed that both voice and image could be transmitted through the air (in the late 1800's), and essentially told Edison to take his DC electrical system and stick it you know where.

Nikola Tesla - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) was a world-renowned Serbian inventor, physicist, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer. He was born in Smiljan, Croatian Military Frontier of the Austrian Empire (today in Croatia). Tesla is regarded as one of the most important inventors in history. He is also well known for his contributions to the discipline of electricity and magnetism in the late 19th and early 20th century. His patents and theoretical work form the basis of modern alternating current electric power (AC) systems, including the polyphase power distribution systems and the AC motor, with which he helped usher in the Second Industrial Revolution.

Nikola Tesla Museum - Introduction
The Museum of Nikola Tesla in Belgrade keeps complete personal belongings of Nikola Tesla, which were, according to his last will and thanks to the exceptional efforts of his nephew Sava Kosanović, collected and transfered to Belgrade after his deathin New York in 1943. The wealth of arhive material, consisting of more than 150.000 various document referring to the life and creative work of Nikola Tesla, as well as the significance of his inventions which are presented at the exhibition, make this Museum a unique institution both in Yugoslavija and in the world.
